‘Eureka’ Ccores Stan Lee

Syfy’s Eureka has landed comic book legend Stan Lee as a guest star for their upcoming season.

Eureka was renewed this week for a fifth season on everyone’s favorite nerd network.

Lee himself is excited about his upcoming cameo, having tweeted about it three times on Tuesday, August 17. “I’m sure you all know the great TV series Eureka on the Syfy Channel. Well, I hope it’ll still be considered great after my cameo!” said Lee via Twitter.

Lee flew to Vancouver to film his role, which is being kept under lock and key.

Stargate Universe’s Ming-Na will also have a turn on the series. She will be playing a senator who visits Eureka to deal with a conflict within Global Dynamics.

Lee and Ming-Na join the list of geek-tacular guest stars for the season, which include Wil Wheaton (Star Trek: The Next Generation), Felicia Day (Dr. Horrible’s Sing-a-long Blog, The Guild), Chris Parnell (SNL), Jamie Kennedy (Ghost Whisperer), and Jaime Ray Newman (Veronica Mars, Eastwick).

Former cast Members Ed Quinn and Matt Frewer will also be returning.
